2021 Michelin-starred restaurants in SW France
In normal times, there are some wonderful places to eat in southwest France. Despite Covid-19 and a complicated year, there are some great news on the front of gastronomy in our foodie region with 4 new one-starred restaurant, including a vegan restaurant, the first of its kind in the country to receive this distinction.
THE NEW ONE MICHELIN STAR
We are very proud to welcome 4 new restaurants who have just been awarded for the first time 1 Michelin star in our region :
Alexandre Baumard – l’Observatoire du Gabriel in Bordeaux
Marc-Antoine Lepage – Les Foudres at the 5* hotel Chais Monnet in Cognac
Guillaume Veyssière at Les Sources de Fontbelle in Angoulême
Claire Vallée at ONA in Arès, on the Arcachon Bay, the first Vegan restaurant in France. The news even hit the headline on the BBC!
