About the Course
Golf de Moliets was designed by American architect, Robert Trent Jones. For the last few years, this course has been included in Golf Digest Magazine’s Top 100 golf courses in the world. It also ranks amongst the top ten in France, and is listed as one of the 25 most beautiful courses in Europe.
Key Features
The course is mixed with real links holes and others among the pines. Long fairways and very fast greens surrounded by bunkers make for a great day out.

Moliets is 58km north of Biarritz and situated near the Atlantic coast at the southern point of Les Landes. Make it part of your itinerary knowing it’s only an hour and 40 minutes from the centre of one of France’s finest cities, Bordeaux, and not far from Seignosse and Hossegor golf courses.
Course Insights
The Moliets Golf Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones in 1989 and is entirely built on sand making it playable all year round. It is ranked one of the top 10 golf courses in France and is regarded as one of the 25 most beautiful courses in Europe. It is also used by the European Challenge Tour as part of the European circuit.
The most attractive holes are holes 13, 14, 15 and 16 situated on the dunes.

Lucius’ tips:
Take a buggy as the distance between some greens and tees is very long. Watch out for the sand traps defending many of the greens.
