Golf d’Hossegor
About the Course
Designed by Arnaud Massy and John Morrison in 1927 this course was created amidst a pine and cork oak forest on sandy soil sheltered from the winds. With a typical British layout refined by Cabell Robinson, Hossegor is listed as one of the world’s top 1000 courses by Rolex Book, is host to national tournaments and welcomes visitors all year round.
Key Features
Hossegor is a flat course set in a heavily wooded area with a real British feel to it. It is less complicated than its neighbour Seignosse with the main distraction being the pleasant environment.

Course Insights
This is a perfect all year round golf course with sandy subsoil. Designed in 1930 by Englishman John Morrison, with input from Arnaud Massey (one of France’s all-time sporting greats), it has been remodeled since the start of the millennium by Cabell B. Robinson. This has, in the words of the architect,
“rendered the course less penal and more enjoyable for the general level of play of the resident members and visitors”.
