Château Les Vigiers organise their 7th amateur golf tournament over 2 days with a team and an individual competition. Come as a group or on your own! Great atmosphere with beautiful Saint-Emilion and Bergerac wines, gastronomic food in one of the most beautiful Dordogne châteaux.

Château Les Vigiers in one of the most beautiful châteaux in Dordogne combining great Michelin-starred gastronomy, friendly service and the best local wines directly from the producers! From a welcome cocktail dinner on the Friday night with a selection of Saint-Emilion Grands Crus Classés wines, a dinner at a Saint-Emilion château on a Saturday night and a Prize-giving cocktail dinner on Sunday, this special weekend is organised to provide you with the best of local wine and gastronomy. As for golfing, you won’t be disappointed with 2 rounds of competition plus a practice round with balls and manual trolley. Prizes include Saint-Emilion Golf Crus classes wines, of course!
The competition
Over a 2-night weekend, enjoy 2 rounds for the competition. Sip and chip the best local wines from Bergerac and Saint-Emilion and take part as a team (6 players) together with a PGA Pro. If you’re on your own, we’ll team you up with others; if you don’t come with a PGA Pro, we find you one. Individual and Pro-am competitions over 2 days. Great atmosphere guaranteed!
The package includes accommodation in a double or twin Superior Relais room and buffet breakfast.

10th edition of Drives du Médoc
5th to 7th of July 2019
Join the most prestigious amateur tournament that combines the passion for golf and the magic of great Bordeaux Wines from Medoc. Play both courses at Golf du Médoc, Les Vignes and Les Châteaux to celebrate the start of the summer.
Golf du Médoc
Classed among the top 15 golf courses in continental Europe, the third best golf course in France (from the Rolex Guide), the Golf du Medoc offers two superbly designed 18-hole courses.
The more challenging of the two is Les Chateaux, which is likened to a links course. It’s very long with large greens and lots of hazards all around. Les Vignes is set among the beautiful pine trees so accuracy is required to score well.
The competition
Teams of two players are organised on 36 holes. The tournament is open to all amateur players (limited index of 35). Stay at Golf du Médoc resort for relaxation guaranteed. Taste the famous wines from Médoc (Listrac, Magaux, Pauillac, etc) and special wine great wine and gourmet prizes to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the special event!
Friday 5th of July: practise round followed by an evening cocktail at the Golf club
Saturday 6th of July: four balls stableford on Les Vignes with a break at mid-course. In the evening, visit of a Medoc château followed by diner and prize giving.
Sunday 7th of July: scramble stableford at Les Châteaux course followed by lunch at the Golf club and prize giving.
